Join us for a day to remember at the historic Inn & Tavern at Meander as we celebrate the ability to reconnect with our family and friends and listen to live music in a beautiful setting with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and alpacas too! The $25 adult ticket and $15 for kids ticket will include: * A plate of Hardwood Smoked Virginia BBQ with coleslaw, loaded pasta salad, and Meander baked beans (Beyond Burgers available for vegitarians) * Live Award Winning Bluegrass Music from King Street Bluegrass and Meander's resident Saturday night acoustic roots musician Joshua Dixon * Alpacas! (small bag of feed) with Ever After Alpaca Farm (additional bags will be available for purchase to extend your time with these unique animals * Lawn Games (Corn Hole, HorseShoes, Croquet, and Badminton) * Hiking Trail along the Robinson River and past the historical family cemetery * Garden Tours with Meander's Master Gardner Sarah Dominsky * Guided Nature Hikes with a natural interperter from Friends of the Rappahannock * Contribution to Friends of the Rappahannock to support thier work at Meander on the Robinson River and the surrounding area to conserve the Rappahannock River Watershed where land use and runoff is managed to protect and enhance our riparian habitats, downstream waters, scenic viewsheds and historical resources Virginia craft beer & wine will be available for purchase from our local wineries including Ducard Vineyards, Early Mountain Vineyards, Barboursville Vineyards and breweries Unionville Brewery and BeerHound Brewery Combine your day visit with an overnight stay at our historic bed and breakfast offering 11 rooms including 7 pet friendly cottages or pitch a tent in our back field, or stay at one of our nearby inn partners Limited patio/porch seating and picnic tables will be available on a first come first serve basis. Feel free to bring your own picnic blankets or camping chairs!
